Vitest is a blazing-fast unit testing framework powered by Vite. It provides native ESM support, TypeScript out of the box, and a Jest-compatible API for seamless migration of existing test suites.
Installation
Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:
- $ npx vitest
Requirements and caveats from upstream:
- Vitest requires Vite >=v6.4.0 and Node >=v22.12.0
