Reference Retrieval
Intake
Collect the research question, population/domain, claim, date range, evidence types, output language, required databases, and whether JCR metrics are required. Record the search date and all access limitations.
Required Database Search
Search PubMed, Google Scholar, and Web of Science Core Collection for biomedical evidence unless the user explicitly narrows the scope. Use database-appropriate syntax rather than copying one query unchanged across platforms.
- Build a concept map with controlled vocabulary, free-text synonyms, exclusions, and study-design filters.
- Search PubMed for biomedical indexing and MeSH-based retrieval.
- Search Google Scholar for broad discovery and citation chaining.
- Search Web of Science for indexed records, cited-reference searching, and citation context.
- Merge results by DOI, PMID, title, and author/year; preserve the database provenance for every record.
- If any required database is unavailable, label it
NOT SEARCHED, state the reason, and do not call the search comprehensive.
Verification
Verify the complete original title, author list, journal, publication year, DOI/PMID, publication type, retraction/correction status, and original source. Never invent or infer a citation. Create true clickable links: prefer https://doi.org/<DOI>, then https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/<PMID>/, then the verified publisher record.
JCR 2026 Contract
When JCR quartile or impact factor is requested, use the official Clarivate Journal Citation Reports 2026 edition only. Capture the labels exactly as Clarivate presents them, including the JCR edition, JIF year if separately labelled, subject category, quartile, Journal Impact Factor, source record, and retrieval date.
- Do not substitute JCR 2024/2025, Scimago quartiles, CiteScore, a journal website claim, or an inferred value for JCR 2026.
- If licensed Clarivate JCR 2026 access is unavailable or the journal has no 2026 record, return
JCR 2026: NOT VERIFIEDand stop the metric portion. Do not fabricate, extrapolate, or silently fall back. - Keep search relevance and journal metrics separate; a high JIF is not evidence that a paper supports the user's claim.
Word Delivery Contract
Deliver a .docx report by default. Use Markdown only when the user explicitly requests it. The Word report must contain true hyperlinks rather than unlinked URL text and preserve readable tables without clipped text.
Use this document structure:
检索问题与范围数据库检索日志去重与筛选说明推荐文献JCR 2026期刊指标when requested未检索或未验证项目检索限制与复现说明
For every selected reference, create a clickable original-title hyperlink and separately display DOI/PMID. Include database provenance in the Word table.
Output Contract
Return in this order:
检索问题与范围数据库检索日志with database, exact query, filters, result count, and search date去重与筛选说明推荐文献with full original English title, clickable original link, DOI/PMID, evidence type, relevance, and limitationJCR 2026期刊指标with Clarivate provenance, when requested未检索或未验证项目
In DOCX, use actual hyperlink relationships and verify that the document opens. In Markdown, use [full title](https://...).
Quality Gate
Block delivery if the requested default Word document was not created, a selected record lacks a verifiable source, a required database is silently omitted, or a claimed JCR 2026 value lacks official Clarivate provenance.
