Market Entry Scorecard
Build a transparent market ranking while keeping evidence quality and blockers visible.
Workflow
- Confirm product, customer, channel, candidate markets, decision horizon, constraints, and strategic priorities.
- Read references/evidence-scoring.md.
- Gather dated evidence for demand, unit economics, competition, compliance, logistics, channel fit, and operational risk. Separate observed facts, estimates, and assumptions.
- Agree on 0–5 scoring anchors and weights. Do not score an unknown dimension as neutral.
- Run scripts/score_markets.py with JSON input. Review missing dimensions, blockers, evidence coverage, leader margin, and fragile rankings.
- Convert the ranking into a small validation plan that targets the assumptions most likely to change the decision.
Deliverable
Provide evidence ledger, weights and anchors, market scorecard, missing evidence, blockers, ranking, sensitivity note, Go/Pilot/Hold recommendation, and 30/60/90-day validation plan.
Boundaries
The scorecard is a decision aid, not a forecast. Do not treat weak evidence as zero, use market size as demand proof, or average away a legal or operational blocker. Record data dates and currencies.
